Anti-setting agent.
As an antisetting Agent, Bentonite powder is very useful in detergent industry.
Bonding & Binding agent.
Major applications in Foundry and Refractory.

Due to higher bond strength of Bentonite, thus not only saving money but eliminating expensive storage and handling charges. Preferred mostly to use more than one type of bonding in the blend, the use of Betonies is a great advantage in comparison to other blending agents, again as due to its high durability, a minimum quantity only will be required for rebounding.

Bentonite is used in Refractory as inner lining in furnaces, to prevent erosion of molten metals.

Bentonite is exclusively and extensively used by pencil industry to bind the graphite compound into pencil lead.

Small amounts of special feed grade Bentonite used as feed, mixed in these operations promote integrity of the cubes and pellets and, when eaten, slows the digestive movement allowing digestive system to absorb additional amounts of important nutrients form fodder consumed.
