Manufacturing Process
MnSO4 form very stable, nearly white crystals which are extremely soluble in water. It crystallizes out of aqueous solution as pink hydrates, bellow 9 degree celcius, Monoclinic Heptahydrate is obtained (MnSO4.7H2O), between 9 and 26 degree celcius, the Triclinic Pentahydrate (Manganese Vitrief) MnSO4.5H2O, between 26 and 27 degree celcius, the Rhombic or Monoclinic Tetrahydrate (MnSO4.4H2O) is obtained. Between 35 and 40 degree celcius commercial form of MnSO4 - Manganese Sulphate is obtained and above 27 degree celcius the Monoclinic Monohydrate (MnSO4.H2O) is precipited.
Note: The Monoclinic form is metastable, but crystallizes over a wider temperature range)
Application
As material of other magnesium salts, in pharmaceutical industry, dying industry, feed, agriculture etc.
